Crop Guidelines

Grove's Crops are a hit! It doesn't seem to matter if they're 12 hour, Thursday afternoon or Friday night... we're FULL and have a waiting list. Soooo....I felt it was time to remind everyone of our crop guidelines. Please abide by these and if there are questions contact me...jjjshuck@yahoo.com or info@grovesinc.com

1. 12 hour crops - MUST (absolutley NO exceptions) BE PAID IN ADVANCE. We CANNOT hold spots without payment...this has always been the rule but it has been stretched lately so I'm reinforcing it. As of January 12, 2008, Credit cards will be charged at time of registration. In other words they will be used "Same as Cash". We felt it unfair that many were paying cash months in advance while those using Credit cards were not being charged until closer crop time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience but hope this helps alleviate being taken advantage of.

2. The spot you register for is FOR YOU. If you are unable to attend please contact us immediately so we can contact the next person on the waitlist. Please see the cancellation policy below.

3. Crops are for you to have some alone time to get some much needed work done on your scrapbooking, stamping and paper crafting projects. We appreciate your not sharing your space or bringing other family members in for the day. Crops are meant for adults only.

4. Cancellation policy:

Please register for crops and classes that you know you are able to attend. We realize that emergencies do happen that may have an impact on your attendance. If you are unable to attend a crop please notify us as soon as possible.
A refund will be made if we receive notification 1 week prior to the first day of that crop and as long as we can fill your seat. Generally this is the Friday, one week before the Friday the crop begins.
Cancellations made after the 1 week deadline will not be refunded and croppers may stop by to pick up their goodie bags. Door prize tickets will be included in the crop door prize drawings and you will be eligible to win those prizes even though you may not be attending.
We typically have a long waitlist of PAID croppers anxious to attend. We cannot call them unless we here from you that your seat is available.
If we do not hear from you we are counting on you attending the crop and have planned by preparing food, door prizes and goodie bags.
If you should not be able to attend and we do not hear from you, there will be no refund but you may stop by the store to pick up your goodie bag.
If you cancel and we are able to fill your spot, please stop by to receive your refund.
No store credit will be given as refund for crop cancellations and refund MAY NOT be put toward any future crops or classes.
Those receiving refunds will have 1 month from Crop date to receive refund.

5. We have space for 18-22 croppers with everyone getting 4 feet of space at our new tables which have MUCH MORE room for storing bags underneath etc. Crop fee is $10 for single day and $15 for Fri/Sat crops, unless otherwise indicated and includes snacks all day, use of the Cricut, QuicKutz, Sizzix and all other tools on our shelves, the library, our computer for journaling and doing digital pages (bring your laptop - we're wireless!!!), door prizes, goodie bags and demos of the latest tools and products.

6. Afternoon and Friday night crops - are available when listed on the calendar only. Our classroom is used for a variety of activities so please don't assume they are empty and available for cropping. ALWAYS call ahead to see.

7. Crops are meant for adults and not children. We will be adding a few Kids Crops through over Summer and will look forward to working with the 10 - 19 year old croppers! After that you can join the rest of us "OLD FOLKS"!
